Headhunting for a kinder work environment and a top notch security space.

The challenge
The web presence is often the first impression of our clients, customers and users. Let’s deliberately design this experience.
Our very first project in the name of The Monday Club Studio. We casually met at a book presentation of our inspiring friend, Jürgen Salenbacher.
Fast forward a few days, we agreed to help Lisa design the experience she has been aspiring for.
How might we attract employers in the digital & physical security space being a unique and trustworthy headhunter firm?
Design challenge
The approach
An UX/UI Expert Review to identify usability flaws, emphasise the USP of the company and design an experience according to the brand values.
Fast forward a few days, we agreed to conduct an UX/UI Expert Review of Lisa’s newly published business website.
We believe in truly understanding our clients, their business, their intention and their aspirations. It’s the holy grail of inspiration for any decision in the design process. It elevates our consulting services as we can provide more value that digital products with a great usability.
Benchmarks & inspiration
Our first prototype was too much fun, too edgy and not appropriate for the rather conservative industry of digital & physical security.
But it made us smarter. We pushed the bounders too much, we intended to emphasise that 5 October is a female-founded startup, we intended to bring Lisa’s fresh and opportunistic personality into the user experience.
Looking at some of her direct competitors and benchmarks allowed us to get a sense of what is “in the box”, so we could once again think “outside of the box”.
«I like how you came up with something that would stand out so much. But the security space is all about trust, seriousness - and quite traditional.»
Lisa Zaripov, founder of 5 October
Ideation & prototyping
Doing the magic - turning insights into tangible designs.
With all the findings crafted and decisions taken, we were now ready to start re-shuffling the content elements in a way that the user can intuitively find the relevant information - and Lisa may position her key messages and services prominently.
The sitemap helped us to get an understanding of what key screens we need and what is the purpose of every page.
UI Design
High accessibility, an industry-conform look & feel and a fresh appearance to conquer the security space.
We explored the bounders of what’s possible to refine how we can help 5 October to create their very own footprint.
«Thank you to the amazing and talented team for their work on the redesign of our site.»
